Guideline Form 22

Purpose of Form:

This form is used to change the mailing address in a parcel register of a registered owner or recorded interest holder, or occupier of lands owned by the Nova Scotia Farm Loan Board.

The form may also be used to apply the address change for a registered interest holder to tax notices and tax bills.

The Form 22 will be indexed and scanned but it is not viewable in the parcel register.

If there is an inquiry related to a change of address not associated with a document or viewable on a form, a request can be made to RGLandTitles@gov.ns.ca to be provided with a scanned image of the address change request.

The address change is effective as of the date and time of recording of the request. The new address becomes the address for service of all notices and documents pursuant to the Land Registration Act.

Note:  The Judgment Creditor may use a Form 22 to update their address in a parcel register only.  If the Judgment Creditor wishes to update their address in the Judgment Roll, they would have to record an amended judgment or provide the current address in a renewal of the judgment.
